Entries will be picked on November 6th at 5pm and could win a stack of books, goodies and sustainable toys from Bear Bookshop and The Magic Garden.

 

To enter:

+ Take a picture of your child’s creation and tag The Parakeet #GrowingUpGreen21

+ Entrants can alternatively  be emailed to E: growingupgreen2021@gmail.com 

+ Remember to caption the picture with your child’s name, age and the area you live and include any description or story that helps to explain their ideas.

Growing Up Green Competition for children under 12yrs.

What earth friendly inventions could you design that help us to look after our environment, the people in it, our community of plants and animals and our *ecosystems?

 

Earth friendly inventions might re-use and re-cycle things or they might cut down or cut out things that are harmful to the planet.

 

Use your creativity, your imagination and your inventing skills to create your design(s).

 

You can;

+ Make something

+ Write something

+ Draw something

*An ecosystem includes all of the plants, animals, and other living things that make up the communities of life in an area.

🔍 T&Cs

 

  1. The Growing Up Green competition gives participants a chance to win a prize to the value of up to £75

  2. The Growing Up Green competition is open to children under 12 yrs based in the UK.

  3. No purchase is required

  4. The closing date is 25th September at 5pm. Entries received after this time will not be considered. 

  5. Winners will be announced on Sunday 26th September.

  6. Winners will be selected by organisers of Growing Up Green festival and prizes will be awarded and sent by 1st class post to winning entrant to a UK.  

  7. If a winning entrant doesn't respond by Thursday 30th September they will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen.
