About

As part of our Play Plot Project, we are happy to join with the ‘Growing up Green’ project running across various venues across the West Midlands.

Our session will offer play based activities related to planting and growing, environmental concerns, recycling, reusing, upcycling etc.

The aim of the session is to raise awareness in the children and their parents/carers of environmental issues in a practical and fun way.

The session is led by a highly trained and experienced team of volunteers. The session will run unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case each parent/carer will be contacted by a member of the team.

Date: Saturday 18th September, 2021

Timing: 10.30am – 12.00pm

Venue: Bearwood Allotments, Dale Street, Smethwick, B66 4HX

Allocation: 10 spaces

Age 3 – 9yrs

**Parents/Carers must accompany their child at all times

Growing Up Green' is a Children and Family Arts Festival that celebrates action on climate change as part of The Great Big Green Week. The festival will take place across Birmingham and the Black Country during the week of 18- 26 September 2021 and will give children an opportunity to be in relationship with nature, nurture their curiosity in everyday ecology and help signpost a way to being environmentally responsible in now and in the future.
