About

Scarlet Tiger Project team morning will be raising awareness of growing up green from a caterpillar's point of view!

This conservation project is jointly run by Dudley Council and Butterfly Conservation, West Midlands branch along the Roman Road / Sandy Lane bridle path in Wollaston.  It was initially set up following the discovery of a colony of day-flying Scarlet Tiger moths on Roman Road, the project’s aims are to improve bio-diversity along the bridle path by increasing the range of wild flowers and regenerating the neglected hedge-row.

Come along, learn more about these beautiful creatures and lend a hand.
