About
Friends of Bournville and Wild Lives Forest School are delighted to be supporting ‘Growing Up Green’ a local festival to support Big Green Week. Our session is all about encouraging families to connect with; play, learn from and create a sense of ownership and belonging to Bournville Park and the natural world beyond.
There will be den building, hammocks, an opportunity to play with natural resources in the mud kitchen and mud painting, plus the creation of art using natural treasures from the woodland. You can borrow a litter picker and help keep the woods clean or perhaps you will pledge your #promisetotheplanet by sharing what your family can do to keep ‘growing up green’. During the session you can also help us create our very own play map of Warley Woods with the best climbing spots, den building locations and names for all your favourite hide aways or places to roll, jump, play and more!
