Growing Up Green in Sparkhill 

The Springfield Project and Park Road Nursery are thrilled to be a part of the Growing Up Green Week and get our little thinkers thinking about our natural world! Through art and creativity we hope to inspire passion for the environment in our children, no matter how small.

Park Road Nursery is a space where nature meets learning and we are excited to offer forest play and drama to our little thinkers.
 

We kick off our Growing up Green Week with a loose parts forest play session led by Ampersand Projects. Whether they will be making their own paint from berries or building woodland dens, our children will be immersed in natural play all day! 
 

Then Park Road Nursery will meet Toni’s Tots Drama in an interactive performance about plastic and recycling specially curated for Growing Up Green by The Other Way Works.

Meet Bellinda Bins as she whizzes around the Magical Woods on her turbo boosted Bin-On-Wheels. Strange things are happening in the woods today, things involving Monsters! A highly energetic outdoor theatre adventure exploring the issues of plastic waste, recycling and respecting our natural environment.
